This fund aims to support research and studies that contribute to feminist/gender studies, or activities conducted from the perspective of women's empowerment and support for women.
■ Applicant qualifications and requirements
Individuals or organizations who aspire to achieve gender equality and justice through their research.
Age, gender, and nationality are not considered, but the ability to fill out application forms and handle administrative communications in Japanese is a requirement.
Applications from those residing overseas will be accepted, but only if all of the following conditions ① to ③ are met.
① Applicants must be able to complete application forms and communicate with administrative staff in Japanese.
② Application documents must arrive by the deadline (postmark valid only for applications sent from within Japan).
③ The recipient of the grant, if selected, must be a financial institution located in Japan.
- Those who wish to receive research funding for a second year on a theme that has already been selected for this fund. However, this is limited to cases where the same individual (or group) is conducting research on the same theme as the one that was selected.
■ Grant amount
We plan to handle several cases per year, with an annual total limit of 3,000,000 yen.
• The maximum application amount per application is 500,000 yen (please note that the final grant amount decided by the review committee may not be the full amount of the application).
