We held "Fun Science! ~Let's Learn About Various Sciences~ in Asahikawa".

We held an event for junior and senior high school girls called "Fun with Science! ~Let's Learn About Various Sciences~ in Asahikawa" on July 22nd at Asahikawa Nishi High School, which introduced the fun of studying science and encouraged them to think about science-related career paths and what lies beyond.
Nine science experience booths, where visitors could freely participate, were set up by science and engineering research laboratories, with 45 students and faculty members participating as staff.
Additionally, a lecture on women's careers in science and engineering was given by a faculty member from the Women Researchers Support Office, and both the junior and senior high school girls and their parents listened attentively with great interest.
This event was also featured in the Hokkaido Shimbun newspaper on July 23rd.
