We support middle and high school girls pursuing STEM fields! Girl's be Ambitious! ~Enjoy science, learn about STEM careers~

Recruiting participants for the first and second sessions of "Solid Science!", a lecture-style experiment series for junior and senior high school girls.

December 2017, 9

"Get Solid Science! ~Let's Talk with Senior Graduate Students~" is a two-part event where you can listen to lectures by female researchers conducting cutting-edge research at universities and experience what kind of research is being done there. In the latter half of each session, there will be a roundtable discussion where you can chat with senior female science students while enjoying tea!

Initially, two sessions have been scheduled: Saturday, October 21st and Thursday, November 23rd (National Holiday). You can apply for one session or both. Please see the details for each session below and apply! (Please note that if there are many applicants, a lottery will be held.)

These use computer-based image processing technology, but cutting-edge image processing research is generating new discoveries in much broader fields, including medicine and planetary exploration. Let's explore such research and research that will enable "future information access."
