KNIT joint research grant
Hokkaido University, along with the other KNIT collaborating institutions (Hokkaido University, Muroran Institute of Technology, Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Kitami Institute of Technology, Amino Up Co., Ltd., and Nitto Denko Corporation), were selected in 2019 for the "Diversity Research Environment Realization Initiative (Leading Type)" implemented by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. They are working to leverage and promote diversity in Hokkaido's research environment and research fields. As one of their activities, they are implementing a joint research grant program for researchers belonging to the KNIT collaborating institutions.
