Harvard University elects its first female president!

A woman has been elected as the president of Harvard University in the United States for the first time.
Even within Japan, there are only a few university presidents, such as Ochanomizu University and Japan Women's University. The vast majority of universities have no women at all on their boards of directors or councils. In order to promote the active participation of female researchers, it is strongly desired that the number of women participating not only in research but also in the organizational management of universities and other research institutions will increase, and it would be great if the groundbreaking news from the prestigious Harvard University spreads widely.
