We regret to inform you that Hokkaido University’s Sick Child Care Support System “さんりんしゃSanrin-sha (Tricycle)” services will end on March 31, 2017.
We have introduced the support system in 2008 for full-time permanent female employees, female post-doctoral fellows/research fellows and full-time contract female employees to meet their needs for day care in case of child
sickness.
In the meantime local councils started formal operations in similar services such as “こども緊急サポートネットワークChild Medical Emergency Support Network” by the City of Sapporo. With this service system, cost assistance subsidy is
available for the service use beyond the initial three hours/day, and there is /no limit on the number of hours//accumulated /per year which may be subject to subsidy (as of Nov 2016).
Having considered responding to such changes, we decided to close our child care support services on March 31, 2017.
For further details of the services by the City of Sapporo (e.g. registration), go to the below website:

Thank you for having used Sanrin-sha services, and for your understanding.
