Comment from the topic provider
Looking back on my career and life events so far, I realize that I have been helped by a variety of people, including my husband and family who are researchers in the same field, my research lab, the university's counseling and support offices, and, after my child was born, the nursery school, NPOs and social welfare organizations.
Thanks to that, I was able to live with my husband, have two children, continue breastfeeding, and even take my children on business trips. I feel strongly that I've managed to get this far without giving up on either my research or my family.
Before I knew about the existence of this kind of support, I often felt anxious.
By sharing this experience, I hope to share with others who can offer advice and help when they are in trouble.
I hope we can share and exchange information.

What is a role model roundtable discussion?
This is a roundtable discussion designed to support the career development of female students and researchers. We invite female faculty members from within the university as guests to share their research and career journeys.
You can hear about things you wouldn't normally hear in a research presentation in a specialized field, such as the reasons why they arrived at their research field and their actual lifestyle, as well as various issues that women face, all in a relaxed atmosphere.
It will be held during lunchtime, so why not enjoy a fun exchange of information while eating your lunch?
